Acronyms are commonly used on the internet.
Almost every group of interest on social media has some acronyms in their lingoes, requiring you to know these terms to engage in online discussions without getting confused.
Social media platforms like Instagram are filled with acronyms, making online conversations fun and engaging. For example, you may have seen the abbreviation CFS from a friend or someone on Instagram. But what does CFS mean?
CFS is an Instagram feature that helps close friends socialize better on Instagram. Keep reading to learn about it.
What does CFS mean on Instagram
CFS means “Close Friends Stories, ” an Instagram feature that allows close friends to upload close-friends-exclusive stories. In essence, CFS enables you to upload stories only your close friends can see.
It lets you upload stories only some selected users (your close friends) can see and react to.
Whether you’re an influencer or a regular Instagram user like me, you may have different kinds of people following you on Instagram; Your friends might be following you on Instagram, or maybe a teacher of yours as well? Or one of your relatives? And some strangers, too?
See, I also have many people following me, but I don’t want to show them all the stories I upload. If this is the case with you as well, rejoice! Because the CFS feature allows you to select several users with whom you want to share your stories.
With CFS, only your selected people will be able to see, react, and comment on your stories, the rest of your followers won’t even know — allowing you to maintain your privacy even if some unwanted users follow you. So, now you can easily share content with your friends without others seeing your activity.
